could New MSD coil fry my ignition molule?

could New MSD coil fry my ignition molule?
I just did a few mods to my car and It is hesitating.
Here is what I did.
1. bbk afpr
2. MSD coil
3. port and polish plenum
4. jet aifoil
5. remove a/c and smog
When I started the car up it would hesitate when I pushed the throttle down. After going for a test run. I popped the hood and I had either steam or white smoke comming from the fire wall behind the distirbutor.
could my new MSD coil have fried my ignition molule?
