I have searched 120 days in the past, so PLEASE don't lecture me about past posts!
Is there ANYONE out there who has ACTUALLY converted their analog dash to digital? No offence, but I am not interested in theroies(Spelling?) I don't want guesses... I want info from someone who has actually done this.
I have a 1987 GTA that is nearly fully restored condition (Analog) and I have a 1988 GTA donor car (Digital, but in original condition with 150k miles and body damage) I want to put the Drivers cluster in my 87, and I could care less if the information center worked or not. I also don't need to convert the Heating,cooling control over to electronic. I just want to watch the cool mph, tach, and temp and pressure gauges.
I would VERY GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR ASSISTANCE!!!!!!!

 

Well if you dont want the information center to work you could just get a service manual and cross refrence the pinouts and rewire it. But if you have the donor car you might as well pull out the whole wiring harness front and rear and replace it. It should only take a few hours to do once you get the interior out. I was going to just get the gauges to work but I decided to not do it at all. It is hard to read the gauges in direct sunlight.
