Got a big problem with the electrical in my car. I just finished putting in a new motor in my car. Only thing is, I am not getting any power to anything in the car. Interior lights don't work, the buzzer for when the key is in the ignition doesn't go off, power locks or windows won't work, the computer isn't getting any type of power at all.
I checked the fusible links at the starter to see if they went bad, but they all checked out good. The battery is new and fully charged. There are no fuses blown in the fuse box. Everything is grounded where it should be. I even ran extra ground leads to all the ground locations in the engine bay to the negative on the battery. I just can't figure this thing out. Everything was fine before the motor swap. Anyone have any suggestions? Any kind of help will be appreciated.

 

The power is routed from the battery to the starter solenoid "distributon post". From there, there are 3 fusible links that power the circuits in the car (ignition switch & fuse panel). There is also a fuse at the battery to power the fuel pump & ECM & a fusible link for the fans. Start at the battery with a volt meter & trace the power to the fuse panel. Also, are the block & frame grounds secure?
