Help

I have a 91 RS. It has a 305 V8 auto and I need a new tach gauge. Mine took a crap on me and evryone I have talked to will only sell the ENTIRE cluster. I just want the piece for the tach only,I have my old one out so someone must sell each part. Help!

From what I've seen when I've had my guage cluster out, it's all one big unit. Granted, anyone with enough determination can put just a tach into it, but why not just check for loose wires/bad connections? Also, it helps if you describe your problem in your subject line. People often overlook nondescript posts.

You will probably not find a junk yard that will break up a cluster. A cluster should run around $75 to $100 from a junk yard. Try posting a wanted ad in the classifieds, and do a search on "cluster", "tach", etc. in the parts for sale section.
