A/F Guage on a carbed 350?????

A/F Guage on a carbed 350?????
Would there be any point to putting a A/F ratio Guage on my Q-Jet 350? I got one for free and i know its good for EFI. But i personally have never heard of anyone using it on a carbed motor. any help would be great

An A/F ratio gauge would be useful an any gasoline engine application. It gives you an indication that the ECM has gone closed loop - the A/F ratio oscillates, and it indicates the ratio @ WOT - something that can be used to determine jet / metering rod sizing on a carb setup.
