My power locks are possed

I drive down the road and they keep locking and unlocking. I turn the car off and lock the doors and the stupid things unlock themselves!! The only thing I can figure is I had to clean the Master cylinder with water the other day and probably got water on some wires or relay. Is there a relay for the pwer locks around the master cylinder and if so what color wires run in to it.
I checked the fuse but it is ok, what else could it be?

I had this same problem, and overnight it actually drained my battery. It turned out that I had tightened the armrest on the door too much and this was causing the problem. I loosened the armrest and presto, no more problem with the locks. Hope this helps.

If the switches in the doors get wet, the contacts will corrode due to electrolosys & conduct enough current to operate the relay coils. Pull the switches apart & clean them with contact cleaner if the contacts are corroded.

I was an idiot and sprayed armor all near them one day. They were possessed for about a week. Freaked out my girl. haha

You don't have to clean anything if you don't want to..the problem will eventually disappear. Trust me.

If the contacts have been coroded with water, over a period of time, the current flow and corrosion will increase over time.

i have a 91 RS that i just purchased recently and sometimes when i start up my car a few seconds later it automatically locks. I have yet to find any consistency in when it does this, and am afraid one day i will go to warm up my car and lock myself out. Anybody have any clues as to why it does this, or if its normal when it is triggered?
