Rewire Fuseable Link??

Ok fried the two wires coming of the starter to the fuseable link. The wires looks very old. The starter wire is one whole piece of wire melted together. I need to know where I can get the two red wires running off the starter with the fuseable link repaired. I know that someone would have to cut out the old fuse link then solder in a new one. But who would have to do this? Would it have to be a Chevy guy or can anyone do it? I basicly need the two wires with the links replaced with some good fat guage wire. Hope you can help pronto.

anyone can do it, and you can pick up replacement fusible links at pretty much any chain auto store.. we have schucks up here, which carries them.. you probably have autozone, which im not certain about but.. im sure they do.. as for who can do it.. cutting and reconnecting isnt chevy-specific.. in other words, take it to any shop, hand them your new fusible link and a 20, and be done with it.. its a pretty simple procedure
