ATTN: 4TH GEN FBODY OWNERS, NEED HELP, ASAP....REF. Factory Alarm!

OK, I pull into work and set my Factory Pontiac Alarm by the remote. I walk away thinking everything is fine.

About 5 minutes later, a security guard tracks me down and informs me that my car alarm is going off. (Car is honking, very annoying).

So I return to the garage, hit the unlock key and the alarm stops. I hit the button to set it again and the same thing happens. I tried starting the car, moving it without any difference. So now my car is unsecure in a not so good area of town.

HELP PLEASE!

I dont know much about alarms, acually i dont know anything. but i do know that you should try to unplug the alarm and plug it back in. maybe it needs to be reset. if that dont work just leave it unpluged so you can bring it home... Hope this helps....
