Is there any way to change the amber color of dash switches in birds to another color? i don't know if the color in them comes from an orange cover or is an LED. Examples of the switches that need the change are the defrost,hatch pop, foglight, and subwoofer STOCK switches that come on birds. I'm having difficulty even opening them up to see inside. Thanks in advance.

JIM85IROC was talking about this a while back...you should ask him. I believe he said that Firebirds used clear bulbs with an orange reflector...he bought red bulbs which made the instruments look more vivid. Either way, all of those bulbs are replaceable so you should be able to get a look inside.

Keep in mind that a climate-control panel from a Camaro should be identical, so you could just swap those out.
