After market ignition boxes.................

Does an aftermarket ignition box such as the MSD 6AL or the Accel 300+ digital ignition replace the ESC module? I am swapping my TPI 305 for a shiney new 383! just don't want to go and by the 350 ESC and Knock sensor when the aftermarket part does the job. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

They do NOT replace the ESC module.

Speaking of the ESC what does that do? My car seem to run fine with it or without it????

The ESC module processes the signal from the knock sensor. If you're not getting any knock, it's not doing anything.
