Rear Hatch not closing

--- Fixed it... Motor was down and Hook was not catching it... pressed the clip and up the motor came Nice and tightly locked :P

Help! Damn thing is not closing... I just picked it up from CA and was working fine. I turn the key and the motor should suck it down and lock. NOTHING!!! I have tried just about anything I can think of... Not an electronics wiz so I do not know if there is a manual way to lock it down... Any suggestions would help... Kinda defeats the purpose of locking the doors if they can open the hatch Opps forgot to add... There is no center console switch for the hatch, just turning the key locks it down... Much thanks

don't know whether yours goes automatically closed when you give it a little tap. mine is. so when mine doesn't shut it is usually caused by the motor moving down a bit (out of alignment - not catching the hook). just loosening the three bolts and align the motor till it hooks closed. hope this gives you another option to try.
