No rear brake lights/blinkers
Thanks in advance to any and all responses. I've got an 88 T/A. The rear brake lights and blinkers do not work at all. I replaced the blinker flasher, also checked all fuses and the bulbs, they all appear good to go, also the front blinkers are fine. It's probrably a wiring problem. I figured I'd run it past you guys to see who has run in to this problem before, or if they are any electrical wizards who might be able to help. Thanks!:hail:

How about the park/rear marker lights? Backup lights? If they don't work either, I'd say maybe the harness has become unplugged, or the ground cable(s) are broken. You'll need to remove the very rear plastic panel in the trunk well to check for these. There is a wiring harness connector on the driver's side, almost under the lockable storage compartment, and the grounds should go directly to the metal body near the trunk latch.

check to make sure you have the right bulbs in the right sockets. If you have regular lights when you turn them on for night but not brakes lights or turns then you could have all the wrong bulbs i the sockets. check them, then look for grounds. If the ground was broke you woudn't get any light at all from anything. If you have night lights but no brakes then it isn't the ground. Check to see if the previous owner screwed around with any wires under the plastic in the rear. If you see new wires then you know he/she messed with it. Consult your manual on it from there.
