I replaced my smog pump and now my rpm guage is bouncing around and sometimes just stays at zero and also, my headlight switch will not dim the lights. they stay bright, Its strange but this happened right after I installed the pump and reconnected battery. can anyone help!

 

you must've connected a constant 12v to the dimmer switch circut somehow. Did you connect any stray wires anywhere? I don't know about the rpm gauge, maybe a bad ground? Some one else should be able to help you with that one. Back to top.
