Blower fan/heater problems...HELP!!!!

Well, my '91 GTA has a problem with the blower motor or something. When I start the car, almost always the blower motor won't come on. It did this this summer with he AC on and now it does it with the heater also. After I drive it awhile it comes to life. I was wondering if there is a relay or something causing this or just a simple loose connection. Where should I check? I thought about checking the dash switch 1st and then trying to check the connection at the blower motor, but not sure where thats at and if there is a pigtail connection or something. Any help very much appreciated... its cold here in Illinois right now!

The blower motor has a power & ground wire going to it. When the selector switch is in the "hogh" position, a blower relay, which is near the motor, under the hood, powers the blower motor. Put the switch in the "high" position & measure the voltage at the motor, while the fan is not working - leave the wires connected to the motor, while probing them. If there is around 12 to 13 volts at the wires at the motor, then the blower motor needs to be replaced. If there is no voltage there, then the problem is elsewhere in the system.
