Was messing under the dash today and I found a small black box behind the kick panel drivers side that says on it Type II Electronics Pkg. (Works only with Type II wiring harness) It has 2 red leds on it labeled power and engage and a small white dial on the bottom that can be turned above a code something like 1K3 F37. Could this be part of the viper alarm I've been looking for?

 

Sounds like an alarm box, w/ the dial being asjustable shock sensor.
