Hooking up a rear defroster.............
My car didn't originally come with a rear defroster, but now I have a hatch that has one on it. How would I go about wiring this up, starting from the defroster to the switch to wherever it has to go to work right? Thanks.......

The only way for the wires to get hot is if they're shorted out so to speak. I wish I had my car in front of me. I would test it for you but being 540 miles away doesn't make it any easier. I'm curious as to how it works really since it produces heat with a wire I figure it woud have to be a short of some kind but I really don't know. Any help?

Yah, hopefully somebody knows because I want to do this before winter ends and I have to wait until next year to use it....
