1992 Firebird ECM and TACH

I upgraded my V6 Firebird to a carburated V8. I installed an MSD 6AL and an Autometer tach on the dash. I also cleaned (read cut) most of the "spare" wiring left over from the swap. Now, after a year of all working fine. I want to change things a bit. I picked up a stock V8 tach to replace the stock V6 tach in the dash. I am going to remove the Autometer tach, to give the car more of a clean, sleeper look. Does anyone know if there is a tach lead coming off the ECM? and if so, what plug and number its on. I have read that there should be a white wire for the tach in the engine comparment, but I would much rather hit it under the dash.

Thanks for any help.

Mark
