Digital Dash pics please.

I did a search for some pictures of the Nodskog Digital dash. But none could be found. Who has one of these dashes. What color did you choose, and how are these for viewing in the sunlight? I noticed Jza had done a review on it, but it's no longer there. Thanks

YOU know what I mean Blackened. That pic as you can see is in a Garage. "Daylight" as in the sun shining inside the car. or on the dash..

Yes, you can see it even with the sun shining directly on it, although that's pretty rare since our Camaro's dashpad has such a dramatic overhang.

They're bright red. They also dim when you turn the headlights on. If you want them to stay bright at night, then you just rotate your dash dimmer to off (obviously you remove all the dash bulbs when you install it; so the dash dimmer isn't doing anything).

>Any thoughts?

Whichever one you pick, you'll like it. I'd like to swap out the red segments for blue ones one day, plus I have a trick idea for the acrylic lens (sorry, it's a secret for now ). But I already have the red accents everywhere else it wouldn't make much sense to swap to blue now.

Finding blue segments will be REALLY tough. I don't think they even make them yet.

When you're in my situation, this nordskog sounds perfect... even if it cost me $800... I'd be buying it.
If it just sounds like a luxury and not a necessity, of course it's going to sound expensive.

NordSkog doesn't sell the dash with blue sements. I was talking about buying the segments seperately and installing them in place of the reds. Digikey sells blue segments.

I have to agree. If I didn't get mine for free, I probably wouldn't have one.

Actually, the Dakota Digital dash is over $500. The Nord-Skog is around $360, but it's still a lot IMO.

Holy monkies, you're right. Those bastards.. Wow, that sucks. Especially for you. That just means that many less people will have them, though. You'll be more "original" and I use the word loosely.

Does that cluster have all the idiot lights and check engine light? I don't think you can pass CA smog without a check engine light.

I can't tell you about the brand listed above, but if its similair to the old cyberdyne, they are tough in direct sunlight. And when I say direct, it is on a convertible. They look the same as what you are looking at (same tinted plastic), I think yours are just more updated in the electonics part of the gages, but still will be difficult in direct sunlight. here is a pic of mine, but its not in direct sunlight, under a tree, if it was in the sun, you wouldn't see it.
