Rear defrost question

When i got my car back from the paint shop, i tried the defrost and it just clicked and didn't work (fuse blew) i checked the owners manual and it said it was a circuit breaker, when I got under there there was a 20 amp fuse there. I put in the breaker, but it heated up and all my electronics lost power when i pushed the button. I'm guessin the person who owned it before me rigged up something, or maybe I have a short or something any ideas? Thanks in advance

check you defroster connections on the back. there should be one wire hooked to each hatch strut. I believe if you push the button again your electronics should work again but not sure on it.
