I know your tired of hearing about it --- FAN
My fan is really starting to upset me. The ignition is off yet the fan continues to run. I have a chiltons and have read the archives, but I still can't find my fan relay switch. I replaced the coolant temp sensor. When I replaced it the fan worked like a charm, until the next morning. The fan came on before the engine was even warm, then it won't shut off. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

The fan relay is nowhere near the brake booster. Thats the FP relay, MAF power relay (If equipped), MAF burn off relay(If equipped), and Knock module (If equipped).
The fan(s) relay(s) is (are) on the fron passenger fender lip near the battery in camaros or near the air cleaner on fb's

Ok I have looked neat the power brake booster. There is two relays, one has three wires going to it, the other has five. Both have a tan and white wire going to them. Chiltons state that there is a tan and white wire going to the switch. It shows in chiltons only one wire goig to the switch and I have heard some have two. There is a small relay near my battery but it has two wires going to it an orange one and a red one. If any body else can help me it would be appreciated. The other day I forgot to disconnect my wires(near the inline fuse by the battery) and even though the fan wasn't on when I shut the car off, it decided to kick on sometime during the day and it drained my battery. I wanted it to run factory before I put a relay and a bypass switch on it, as in the tech article, but its getting to the point I am willing to just put a switch on it. How can I put it on a toggle switch, I'm not very electrically inclined. I want to hook it up directly to the fan with the hot wire hooked to the toggle switch, can anyone instruct or show me a diagram of how to do this. Thanks again in advance.

Sounds like the fan relay, or the ignition switch, if the fan runs with the ignition off. The fan relay has a red, red / black, brown, and dark green / white wire going to it. The fan is controlled by the temp switch in the passenger side head, the A/C pressure switch, and the A/C selector switch. If any of the switches were defective, the fan would still shut off when the ign switch was turned off. With the relay disconnected, if the brown wire has power applied to it when the ign switch is off, then the ign switch is defective. If no power at the brown wire, but the fan continues to run, replace the fan relay.
