Really dumb question (Relay Location)
Does anybody know where the relay for the power antenna is physically located on a 88 GTA?

yes.
it should be beneath the plastic moulding right below your map holder or whatever they call that sorry excuse for a glovebox that sits in front of the pass.seat.
just take some screws out from underneath the dash in that area (im sure someone has a picture) and the footwell plastic will come down. then you remove the rest of the screws and the plastic trim I was talking about will come off. the relay is behind this and should have 3 wires going in (pink orange and white I belive) and 3 coming out(green brown and white).
what happened anyway -- ant. not working.
the motors usually freeze up before you have to replace the relay. I got sick of mine burning up and stuck a whip on there.
kindof miss the coolness of a power ant. though.....

Yep, you guessed it, Antenna doesnt work, but someone had put in an aftermarket stereo, and im not sure whether they wired it correctly, so now armed with your excellent description, I will have a look.
Thanks for the reply.
