This is undisclosed information on this board because **** people think that because the camaro was a top stolen vehicle in the mid to late 80's that it still is a hot item today. Sorry people but this is really stupid. VATS is so antiquated and dissected already and the people that would actually steal these cars are usually so stupid they don't know what the hell a resistor is anyway. Actually without going in-depth, if you don't know what resistance (1 of 15) it is think of what a TPS is and how it works and if your smart enough to figure this out I doubt your a late '80's car thief. Try measuring the 'pill' on your key is an easier way.

Honda's and Toyota's and SUV's are hot. People that steal these wouldn't even look at our cars 'cuz there's no payoff in them. Just try selling your beutiful example and see what you get. It's a stupid punk that would take 'em for parts on their camaro/fb. They would probably know you or of you or see your car in the same spot at the same times. As or cars age VATS is becoming a real PIA and this board won't help in this area because they think it will make their car the next target.

If you know all 15, just buy all 15 resistors. They are real cheap if you get a variety pack. They don't have to be exact (Probably within 15% tolerance) Figuring for all the grime and corrosion that builds up on the key/contacts.

The resistor goes between the white with black stripe and the purple with white stripe.

I'll try to get you a wiring diagram

THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HELPED ME.
NO THANKS TO ALL THAT DID NOT HELP ME
I USED A POTENTIOMETER...A ADJUSTABLE RESISTOR....I GOT THAT BABY.
THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HELPED ME ONCE AGAIN.
