Someone on another board mentioned that someone made their digital dash be able to read past 85 before it started blinking. What they did was fixed it to read in kph since in kph it will go to 137 before it starts blinking, then it would convert that speed to mph. This way it would go 85, 86, 87, ect. Has anyone heard of this, or know how to get the speedo to read past 85?

I have an 85 Berl. too and if this is true I'd really like to know. I've got 4.10's in my car and I didn't bother changing the speedo gears, so when I'm doing an actual 105KPH the speedo is already flashing 136. it gets kinda annoying.

Sorry for the late reply - I was on vacation for a few weeks in a 3rd world (no internet) country - I am working on a circuit that increases the range of 85 mph digital speedos by switching over to KPH above 85 mph & scaling the pulse input acccordingly - I'll let you know when I get the design finished.
