possible distributor failure or coil
92 rs 5.0 TBI 5 speed manual
while cruising on the free-way in 4th at between 70-75mph 3,000-3650rpm the tach will bounce between the rpm range above at a light accell also when around 4,000-5,000 rpm the vehicle will feel like it's loosing power and stumble. i make frequent 5,000 shifts on a stock 5.0 TBI with 91,000 miles i know the engine and its related parts are probably wearing just curious as to what might be causing this condition. I am going to upgrade to msd 6al ignition box also going to replace the stock distributor with an aftermarket gm or msd which is suggested and what about the coil?
