Autometer A/F gauge is acting very funny

My autometer gauge acts funny. It fluctuates back and forth. With my blower connected and without it. It is connected directly to the 02 sensor wire. I think that is fine, because the Edelbrock and K&N air fuel ratio gauges are connected directly to an 02 also. Am I correct?

In closed loop mode, the O2 gauge fluctuates between approx 0 & 1 volt, as the computer changes the mixture ratio. @ WOT, the voltage should be somewhat constant @ near 0.9 volts.
