Broken boost gauge???
I'm having a problem with this Autometer mechanical boost gauge. I connected it before the check valve on the plenum. Under normal driving the gauge reads 2psi of vacuum. When I floor it , the max boost it reads is 2psi. It never goes past 2psi boost no matter how hard I step on the gas or what RPM I am at. Ex: It reads 2psi of boost at 3000RPMS, and 2psi at 5000RPMS. I know I have to be making more than 2pounds of boost. ..The guy who had the supercharger before me had same mods as me and was making 10#s on a 91 305 TPI with slp performance package.
Any ideas?
