Like I posted earlier my iginition sw is froze solid. I can access the switch itself and see the rod. Can I unlock my steering and tranny from under the dash? I need to get it towed and I have it pointed nose to my garage. Is there anyway short of yanking the steering wheel to do this?

If you remove the switch from the column, you may manually operate the switch & also unlock the shifter with the release cable, but in order to turn the steering wheel, its lock mechanism must be released - you will have to remove the steering wheel, if the tumbler will not rotate.

Thanks Tim, thats my whole problem. The tumbler wont rotate at all.
