I'm going to be replacing my intake and carb on my LG4, and ive been told that im gonna have to get a vacuum advance distributor. I am leaning to the one that Summit makes, but I would appreciate some opinions. Theyve got the best price Ive found ($150.00 -w- a high perf. coil)

im using the blueprint accel distributor for about 9 months now and it seems to work great. although it doesnt come w/ a coil, it has an adjustable vac advance and comes with an advance spring/weight kit so you can tunr it for best performance. the part # is 9107 and costs $137 dollars, you can get an accel high output coil for another $48, so for a total of abotu $185 you can get a trusted brand name that works well. also, I know the accel unit comes fully rebuilt, meaning that all the electronics are replaced (pickup coil and ignition control module) but the summit one doesnt say that (it could be fully rebuilt, but you'd have to call and ask) obviously, i give my support for the accel but it's up to you
