Easy question (I think)

How many wires to the O2 sensor? I'm looking at installing my led air fuel guage and I'm not real sure where the sensor is. I think I found it but it only has one wire on it. It is on the driver side of the card and I can get to it from the top side. Is that the right thing?

Sorry if not very clear

Bill

Yep.. One tan wire. You need to get the ground for the meter somewhere else as close to the sensor (motor/heads) The further away you get with the ground the less accurate the guage is.

Thanks JoelOl75. Is there anything wrong with using a quick connect to tap into the sensor wire?

I wouldn't because the signal in this wire is very small and cutting into the wire with a quicky will let the elements in. Solder it and tape well (or better heat shrink it)

I've had so many nightamares with those suitcase gizmos losing contact and causing gremlins that i quit using them for everything and in a pinch use a butt connector instead, shoving 2 wires in one side and one in the other.
