Trying to diagnose a non-thirdgen electrical problem--who can help??
I'm still learning how to use my new multimeter. A freind of mine has a 99' Cavalier, the problem is when he turns the car on the daytime running lights don't come on, but inside the car the indicator for them continually flashes, from what I understand longer than normal but then finally goes out. The headlights still function like normal. My guess is that there's a switch somewhere that's gone bad. I'm not sure what do you guys think. What would be the best way to test for this problem. Should I do a voltage drop test??
