where to plug in the power for the MSD ??

I did a search and the only direct MSD topics only listed to draw power for the MSD unit from the alternator stud. MSD says that is not the way to go. Any other suggestions??

I got power to my MSD box right off a terminal junction that is directly off the battery. If you follow the smaller wire that comes off your battery cable , positive side you should have a small terminal post next to the radiator. You shouldnt run the power for your MSD off the alt. I did the same for the ground as well. Hope this helps

Got mine running straight off the battery. To keep things safe I put a 30AMP inline fuse in right at the battery.
