My friend has an 82 Camaro. The original owner scrapped pretty much everything in the car, including the power window buttons. Well, my friend bought a power window switch ( has 4 prongs on the back.) and we foun the wires for the windows. there are 2 blues, 2 pinks, black (ground.), and a tan anda brown. If anyone can help us wie these, i would be most appreciated. thanks for any help.

 

the power windows in these is a 2-wire, flip current motor. there is the ground, and right next to that should be the power wire. the other 2 wires go to the window, only the origional type switch will work for that. a 4 prong switch wount work if its just 4 prongs. the origional switch is acually a 6 prong slider switch, modified to simplify the wiring. does that help?
