Brake light stays on

Yesterday I decided to try removing the reflectors in my tailights and try the clear look. So after I decided to keep the reflectors I put the lights back together. So now one of the brake lights on the driver's side stays on. I put a new bulb in today and it still stays on. It is not on when the lights are off. When the lights are on the brake light stays on. When the lights are off, the brake lights work correctly. Anyone have any ideas??

If I remember correctly, that is a dual-element bulb - one for tail light, one for brake light. It may be that just by chance you installed it 180* out of how it should be, even with the new bulb. Take the bulb out of the socket, rotate it 180* and put it in and try that. It should solve your problem...

You got it right on man. I pulled the bulb and turned it and it's all good now. I did have a problem with too much grease in the connection, but I cleaned some out and it works right now. Thanks a lot.
