Tach stopped working

I just installed headers and new wires on my '86Z and now the TACH doesn't work. The other gauges are working ok. I didn't disconnect anything during the header/wire install at the distributor. The needle is just buried over on the 7000 RPM mark. I'm not sure where to begin, any help appreciated.

Make sure you didn't accidently dissconnect anything by the distributor when you put the new wires on.
Alos check to make sure there are no wires laying on the headers
anywhere.
Sounds like you may have a bad ground somewhere.
