l'm having a hard time wiring my MSD ignition with 1990 IROC Z with a LB9 305 TPI- l got the 6 A ignition and blaster 3 coil off a 71 monte carlo with a 468 l need to know which wiring harness l need for my car dual connector (l think is what its called) or single without vaccuum advance. can l run the blaster 3 coil with a 150 shot of nitrous thats on my 305 or would that cause detonation?

Hey mouse, I just installed a 6A on my 89 formula, and have had nothing but trouble out of it. But anyway the harness part number for a dual connector is 8876 MSD #. If you have any problems with your box let me know and I will try to walk you through everything I did. I called MSD and they don't know S#@%. anyway.

Biggest problem I had with mine is a wild tach jump during full throttle. Yet to see it now that it's wired direct instead of the adapted kit they sell. Maybe I got lucky ?

Besides the tach problem, with my ESC "Electronic Spark Control" sencor hooked up my car would miss and everything else at 3500 but if you unhook the ESC it runs fine. I called MSD and they have NO CLUE whats going on. They think it may be in myingiton module so they are sending me one FREE! So if they want to send me free parts I'm not going to bitch.
