I was told to mount the box in a cool "DRY" place like inside the car. I was also told that these boxes are prone to heat and water. So what should I do? If I mount it inside the car........WHERE?

Thanks

The PC board in the box is conformally coated, so I would not think that a mild moisture environment would cause a problem. This unit in the picture above has been in use for four years, without any problems, and the engine is washed down regularly with a garden hose.
