Cooling fan problem
Cooling fan problem
The coooling (radiator) fan turns on when the coolant temp rises. However, the fan does not turn on when I turn on the A/C. Obviously, the fan relay works, but now what do I check?
I have a single fan setup, on a 1986 305 TPI.
Any help as to what the cause might be would be appreciated!

check the A/C fan relay, YES THERE are two relays, it's off to the side of the other 2 relays, it's black and cylinder shapped, also check the pressure switch on the A/C system. Check for codes in the ECM, yes codes can be set even when no check engine like comes on.
