Digital Dash for a 84 Firebird, good or bad? NOW WITH PICTURES!
I have a 84 Firebird and am looking to replace my Analog gauges with a digital gauge. The one im looking at is the only they always have on ebay for a 82-85. I was just wondering if anyone knew how good these were, if they are worth the work, ect...

Those look sweet! I would like to add those to my bird. I have an 88 though and that set-up is for a car with a speedometer controlled by a cable. Lucky for you, we would have a bidding battle, LoL.
I actually just purchased a set of these. The look pretty nice. I haven't yet been able to install them since I have an idiot light cluster. Keep that in mind. If you currently have idiot lights it's going to take a bit more work. You will have to re-wire the connectors that connect to the gauge cluster. If you already have 'real' gauges it's a matter of running two wires and attaching the speed sensor at the tranny.
Also there doesn't seem to be any way to read the odometer or trip counter. You are going to have to wing it for that. Hope this helps.
