hello, yesterday, i went to adjust the IAC valve, before i reset my TPS voltage, but i didnt have time to remove the throttle body to remove the IAC valve, so i hooked the battery back up, and the MAFS sensor.., and it started smoking when i hooked the battery back up.., let the smoke clear.., the positive battery wire form the battery to the alternator is completely fried, and bare, what would cause this?..its a brand new battery and alternator, and im barely getting 8 volts, its been dropping in volts over the last few days..?, anyone have any ideas
