Anbody have any help on how to wire an alarm system?
I got my new '85 Trans Am and it came with an alarm, but it hasn
t been hooked up. I wouldn't be able to tell you what kind of alarm it is, all I know is there are about 20 wires coming out of it..

You really need to find out what kind of alarm you have before getting any help.

Alot of alarms have a wiring color code diagram somewhere on the box (or on a label on the box). Did you take it out and look at it yet?
