Secondary fan prob???

Okay, WTF.... I just got finished installing Vette heads on my 88 L98 Camaro, now the secondary fan is always on??? First, which head is the secondary fan switch in? Is it grounded wrong? Are the aluminum heads cause bad grounds, I connected all the factory grounds plus one strap on the drivers side head.. Could it be the RTV on the fan switches? Help!!

I thought it was the primary fan, not secondary, but to answer your question, it is in the pass. side head... between #6 and #8 plugs. I don't have a clue as to why it would run all the time now with just changing heads. I think there's quite a few guys on here with aluminum heads, but this is the first I've heard of this kind of problem. I guess an easy troubleshoot would be to disconnect it at the switch and ground it to see if it kicks on then. It sounds like the switch has got a permanent ground now, causing it to always run... not an expert on the subject, just trying to help...

I have aluminum heads and my fan works fine, so that's not the problem. Try replacing the sensor (actually just a thermo switch) in the head which turns that fan on.
