Planning to purchase an MSD 6AL for my 92 Camaro TBI from Summit....Is it easy to install. Does it some with its own wire harness??

 

JEGs & Summit both sell harness kits that allow you to just plug the MSD box right into the existing wiring w/o cutting a wire but the box alone comes with fairly detailed instructions for splicing wire,,, maybe a half hour to 45 min install for a novice.

If you choose to splice please solder the wires & use shrink tubing instead of twisting wires & elec. tape,, it's just a lot better way to split wires
