My darn temp gauge will not move!!
I have replaced the sender, the gauge, the wire connector.
I have done the test were you put a 100 ohm resister between the temp wire and ground and the niddle moves.
I need to get this fixed i almost blew my new engine :|

its a 2.8 F.I.

Thanks,

ok you replaced the sender and the connector...You splice in a indenpendant source and it works...you might have got a bad sender...maybe the wrong one even. I used to work in parts retail it happened all the time.

Make sure you get the correct sender for the year of the temp gage, they are different for most years.

is it possible there's a break in your wiring ? -I doubt it but worth a try -but sounds like you've already tried running a separate bit of wire from end to end...
