Sensor or gauge??
Sensor or gauge??
OK, Before I rip apart my dash I figured I'd ask. When I start the car the oil pressure reads 30psi. Usually , but not always at some point during my ride the gauge tops out (goes past the 60). Sometimes it even comes back to 30 but usually not.
Should I start by changing the sensor?

well..theres one that feeds the gauge, and theres another sending unit that feeds the computer so the fuel pump will shut off if the oil psi drops too low
