Guages
where is a good spot to put all the wires for my guages through the firewall. i got a water temp., oil psi, and volt guages and wanna know a good spot to put all the wires through the fire wall. thanx
It's almost directly below the brake booster if you're looking from the engine compartment. To reach it, you'll have to be a skinny contortionist, or have a grabber tool.
Looking at it from inside it's just above and to the left of the brake pedal IIRC. You'll have to dig out some jute padding, but it's a hole about 2 inches in diameter with the speedometer cable going through it.
What I usually do it stick a grabber through the hole and have someone stick the wire onto the grabber and pull it back through the hole. If there's several wires it's easier to tape them all together and run them at once, plus taping the end keeps it from hanging up on something while you're pulling it through.

I'll be doing this soon as well! What i would recomend is to get your hands on a Chiltons manual or better yet a shop manual. The shop manual runs over $100 new and i found one on this web site for $50, it turned out to be in pretty good shape, except for the cover. I am sure that will help anyone who knows how to read! good luck
