I have the wrong prom in my vehicle currently, one which does not require VATS... I tried putting the new one in and it will just crank... I pulled a code 46, and started doing the diagnostics in my GM manual and found nothing wrong... so I just started playing around with things... I disconnected the VATS module and the car still cranks... is this normal...? also any idea's on what may be wrong? I really don't want to order a new VATS module they are almost $200.00... also I checked the resistance on the wires from the ignition and they are coming out correct... and the blue line is putting out the ECM enable signal... the computer is known to be working... I am at a loss... please help!
