VATS Update!~!~!~!!!!!! :) :)
I got a really good idea (afterbeing pissed at resistors all day)... I went to the garage at 2:30AM and popped the pellet out of my key... I held it between the wires and turned the ignition... **VRROOOOM** I have never had this car start on the proper prom, and I can now tell the 80k miles on the car were well taken care of... I just want to thank all of you for your help!!! This car has never sounded better to me!
Thanx,
ray
p.s. that is kinda a better solution than a resistor anyhow... it already has the resistance value the car needs... and you don't have to do all kinds of hunting around for resistance values and proper resistors... maybe this idea can help someone...

How about using an ohm meter to measure the resistance of the key pellet & then using a resistor of that value?
