Need help wiring 4th gen power window switch

I just bought a set of door panels from a 1998 Camaro. The panels have power window and mirror controls. Does anybody know if the 3rd gen wiring will hook up to the 4th gen switches? Or do I need to rewire anything? Also, if the window switches do hook right up with no modification necessary, does the auto down feature work? Any help anybody can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Its cut and splice time bud. First of all, the window switches in a 3rd gen are on the center console.... Just check what connections are made on the 4th gen switches and match them up to the wires on the 3rd gen switches. Once you get that down, extend the stock 3rd gen wires to the door panels, and hopefully it works.

*Although I answered this, you need to know something else. I am not trying to be rude here, but a glance at your current switches and the 4th gen switches would tell you what I just wrote.

be warned, 4th gen door panels require a lot of work to make them fit on a 3rd gen door. 4thgen doors are physically a different shape and size than 3rdgens. 4thgens also use a different system to retain the door panel to the door shell.

Thanks for your help, I'm sure I'll get them wired up somehow. I remember seeing a picture of a guy that used the 4th gen switches. I can't remember, but I think he said they just bolted right up and worked. However, when I was looking at the 4th gen switch, I noticed it has 5 connections, where as the 3rd gen wiring only has 4 connections.
