MSD
I have a friend with the same problem in his (ahem) '67 Mustang. He has the MSD 6AL box, and everytime you touch the gas, the radio crackles. He is about to try the MSD noise filter which is sold in both Jeg's and Summit. Part No. 8330 I would recommend you take a look at it. I'll keep you informed whether is works or not.
Put sheet metal between the box and the radio, or the box and the antena. What is happening is the emag field from the box is interfering with the radio. Putting a metal shield around it is equivilant to using a heat sheild. The more layers you use the better the insulation. You have to use metal or else it won't work. This should be a lot less expensive than a kit someone sells. I hope this helps.
