brake warning system?

what exactly is this. I saw it going into the firewall cannector on my 91 TPI wiring harness.

It could be the low brake fluid warning harness. When the fluid gets too low it triggers the check engine light

There was never a factory installed low brake fluid warning system on third gen F bodies. There is, however, a differential pressure switch installed in the proportioning valve, between the front and rear brake systems, that will close and light the "brake" light in the instrument cluster if there is a difference in pressure between the two systems, when the brake pedal is applied. A differential pressure indicates that one of the two separate systems has failed.
